After completing his Rabbinical Ordination at the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva and settling in Crown Heights, Rabbi Yehoshua Werde noticed a gaping void in the community: young entrepreneurs and job seekers were completely on their own, striking out without any support. “What if we could create a system where young men and women could get assistance in their efforts?” he wondered. And that’s how, in 2012, CHYE was born. With Rabbi Werde at the helm, CHYE took sail, filling a major need and fostering a more prosperous future for the community at large.
Rabbi Werde resides in Crown Heights with his wife and ten children. He enjoys making a difference in people's lives and is passionate about making his community a thriving and vibrant one.
